SADE MALONE
Sade is a 2018 graduate of LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) – founded by Paul McCartney.
At the age of 14, Sade landed the regular role of Agnes Addo on the BAFTA-winning CBBC production 4 O CLOCK CLUB, a role she played across 4 series until 2014 before she started her drama school training.
Theatre roles include: 'Ralph' in LORD OF THE FLIES (Leeds Playhouse); CUCKOO (Soho theatre), directed by Debbie Hannan; SEASONS IN THE SUN (East Riding Theatre), directed by John Godber. Roles whilst training include: Philomele in LOVE OF A NIGHTINGALE and Mercutio in ROMEO AND JULIET.
Television roles include: HOPE STREET S2 and S3 (BBC/Britbox); PISTOL (FX / Minim UK Productions); FRANK OF IRELAND (Channel 4/Amazon); Regular role of Siobhan in comedy-drama MY LEFT NUT (Rollem Productions for the BBC); TINSTAR S3 (Kudos Television for Sky Atlantic); THE QUEEN AND I (Sky One) alongside David Walliams and Samantha Bond; RIG-45 (Subotica & Mopar Media Group); CASUALTY (BBC1). Other screen roles include short film, UNDERWATER (**selected for Savannah Film Festival 2019).
Sade has also recorded multiple radio dramas for the BBC to include FAULT LINES: MONEY, SEX AND BLOOD (BBC Radio 4); BRIEF LIVES - SERIES 11 (BBC Radio 4) and TORN** (BBC Radio 4) .**BBC Audio Drama Awards 2020 finalist in the "Best Debut” category.
Recent roles include the title role of new feature film TWIG (Blue Ink Films/Janey Pictures) where Sade stars alongside Brían F. O’Byrne (Little Boy Blue) for director, Marian Quinn and the lead role in SIVE, on stage at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin.
Sade was recently named among the 2024 cohort of Stars of Tomorrow (Screen International)
